Hi everyone, welcome to Another Life!

We are Sio and Anew — two very good friends who keep living, leaving, and starting over in different parts of the world. Across the UK, France, Spain, Canada, Argentina, and Greater China, every place we lived became a chapter of us, every moment that made us laugh, cry, and grow has shaped who we are today.

Now in our 40s, we find ourselves starting over again — this time in the UK and in Japan.

We used to move with excitement. Now we move with intention.

Starting over is no longer just about possibilities, but about reality. It is not only about adapting to new environments, new languages, and new routines, but also about building sustainable career, developing meaningful relationships, and facing uncertainty, loneliness, and self-doubt. 

Things don’t always work out the way we expect, but we always choose to keep going.

Right now, we are both building projects that reflect the lives we are trying to create. Through our experiences of starting over, we hope to share not just information, but our ways of seeing, adapting, and moving forward.
